  1. My book is "The Rise Of Nine" by "Pittacus Lore", Which is a group of people ghost writing under that name. the genre is science fiction. My novel is the second third book in the "I am Number Four" series and with is own conflicts this book seems more about building upon the overall story of the series. I am liking this book, and I have the next two books in the series to read after. As the writer/writes are ghost writer(s) information on them is hard to find. However "Pittacus Lore" has write may books that involve side story's to expand the universe of the "I Am Number Four".

  2. The book that I am reading is called "A Game of Thrones." The author of the book is George R. R. Martin. The genre that the book is in is fantasy and fiction.
I quite enjoy the book. So far the plot has been very interesting. There is lots of conflict and mystery in the book. Lots of things have happened and you can feel the intensity grow. The book is the first of a 5 exist books in a 7 book series. If that makes any sense. Basically there are 5 books so far and there's 2 more to come and this book is the first. It's quite a long book. The book is apart of the series called "A Song of Ice and Fire".
I do enjoy George R. R. Martin's writing style. He tells the story from multiple perspectives. So there is a lot going on at the same time and in different places. So something can be happening on chapter in King's landing, the capital city, and the next chapter you jump to The Wall which is across the entire kingdom in the North. So you really have to focus and pay attention to what's happening or else you'll get lost and confuse yourself with the plot. Which I enjoy because I enjoy the complexity.
I decided to read this book because it was recommended to me by a friend. I has also heard a lot of things online about the book and the series that it is apart of.
As I mentioned above, George R. R. Martin is the author of this book series. He is 66 years old. He lives in Bayonne, New Jersey, United States. He is the author of many of books. Such books as "A Clash of Kings", "A Feast for Crows", "A Storm of Swords", "A Dance with Dragons", "Windhaven", and many other books and short stories. He is a well known author and has had his book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" turned into an ongoing tv show on HBO called "Game of Thrones".

  3. The book that i am reading is called "The Hunger Games." The author of this book is Suzanne Collins. The genre of this book is science fiction and adventure.
I am really enjoying the book though I am only on the fifth chapter. So far it's been very interesting especially as to how I've also seen the movie so I can compare the movie and my picture in my mind from the book. There has been lots of conflicts for the protagonist but she has dealt with it in good ways. The book is the first book from the Hunger Games Trilogy.
Suzanne Collins, I think is a really good writer. She really pays good attention to detail and love to entertain your imagination through her books.
Suzanne Collins was a son of a Military officer so they moved a lot. She is 52 years old. She now lives in Hartford, Connecticut United States. She has a Bachelor Arts Degree with a double major in theater and telecommunications from Indiana University. After reading stuff about her personal life I found out that the school that she attended when she was little was, Sandy Hook Elementary School, also the same place where the shooting happened. I thought this was very interesting. She also has another series called "The Underland Chronicles."

  5. The novel that I'm reading is Four by Veronica Roth. The genre is science fiction, adventure and dystopian. I like that there's a reason behind almost everything that happens in the book because I don't have many unanswered questions. I am enjoying her writing so far. I chose this novel because I read Divergent which was originally what Four was suppose to be. Also because it was recommended by my cousin. Veronica Roth is 26 years old, from New York and wrote the Divergent Triology, Four and four other short stories related to Four.

  7. The novel i'm reading is "Lord Of Rings The Fellowship Of The Ring" by J.R.R Tolkien. The genre of this book is Fantasy fiction. I'm really enjoying this book, everything is so interesting. I have seen all the movies multiple times, so its neat to compare the book and movie. This book is the first out of many, their is also a prequel to this book as well. The whole plot of the book is quite interesting, the book is based of destroying one powerful ring that can destroy the world. In order to destroy it they have to travel far and wide across dangerous lands all the way to where it was created. The author J.R.R Tolkien has a very cool style, he created many different things that no one has every heard off. He runs off with his imagination so its very entertaining to read. I would recommend this book or any other book he has written to anyone. The book is all around great!

  8. The novel I chose to read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. I would say the genre is drama, the death of Susie and how the family is dealing with her death. Also I think the book is a mystery, as they try to find out who is the murderer. I like the way that Alice has written the novel. The story takes place in the 1970s and I think Alice is doing a great job of making the reader picture the 1970s. An example of her writing is, "I was wearing my royal blue parka and yellow elephant bell-bottoms" (8).I chose this novel as a recommendation. I needed a novel to read and I asked a couple of people and one of the choices were "The Lovely Bone" and I thought to myself 'hey, didn't I watch a movie with that title?', and that's what made me choose this novel.
Alice Sebold was born on September 6, 1963. She has written 3 books which are: "Lucky" (memoir, 1999) "The Lovely Bones" (novel, 2002) "The Almost Moon" (novel, 2007).

The novel that I chose to read is called Sacred Leaf, by Deborah Ellis. The book is the sequel to the book I Am A Taxi also by Deborah Ellis. It follows the life of a boy named Diego who is forced to live in a prison with his family because of a lie that has been connected to his family. He tries to make money as a runner but soon picks up a dangerous job that puts him in a whole other part of Bolivia. The second book focuses more on the cocoa trade of Bolivia and how Diego gets involved while still trying to get back to his family in the prison. I enjoy the book a lot because it focuses on the hardships of the people of Bolivia and really sheds light onto how the government acts to the people there. The reason I chose this novel is because I read the first book and was excited to know that there was a second book to the series. Deborah lives in Simcoe, Ontario and has won a number of awards including the Governor General Award, Swedens Peter Pan Prize, the Ruth Schwartz Award and the Vicky Metcalf Award among others. She is best known for writing the Breadwinner trilogy.

  10. The novel I'm reading is 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth. The book's genre is fiction, Utopian and Dystopian fiction. So far, the story is very interesting and leaves you wanting to read more. The book makes me think. I have watched the film so as I am reading the book, I visualize the scene based on my memory from the movie. I liked the movie very much but I find the book more detailed and it leaves you hanging at the end of each chapter. I can feel the growth of the intensity raising as I read the book more and more. I am enjoying what I am reading so far. Veronica Roth’s writing style is something I very much enjoy. I actually plan on reading the whole trilogy at my own time.

  11. The novel I'm reading is The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. The genre is historical fiction and adventure. I really like this book because the novel takes place in the jungle and there are many animals, which I always like to learn more about. I also like how this book feels like it could be a true story (even though it isn't.) I chose this novel because Mrs. Kopetsky told me to read it because she read it and thought it was a good book. I have found out that the author has published fourteen books, and that she was born in 1955. I assume that Barbara Kingsolver really likes writing adventure novels and novels that have a lot of nature in it because many of her novels are like that.

  13. The novel that I am reading is Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. The genre is mystery. I'm enjoying the novel because it leaves you wondering what's going to happen constantly and it's hard to put down. It's a really dark story line about a sensitive topic that people don't often write about. I think the fact that it's focused on such a unique topic makes it more unpredictable. I am really enjoying Jay Asher's writing, I've never read anything by him before. I chose to read this book because it was on your shelf and it looked work like you had read it many times so it must be good. Jay Asher has two books published; Thirteen Reasons Why and The Future of Us. He's 39 and he was born in Arcadia, California. Overall, I really like this novel so far and I would recommend others read it.

  14. The book I am reading is Star Trek: Vanguard: Storming Heaven by David Mack. It is a science fiction novel. It takes place in Starbase 47 also known as Vanguard during the TOS TV series and has a very wide array of characters in it. I am enjoying the book and about 75% done reading it. About the author David Mack, he was born 12 May 1969; age 45 and attended the new York University and the Tisch School of Arts. The reason why I am reading this is because I have liked Star Trek and Star Trek novels for along time and have read the rest of the Vanguard series which was not just made by David Mack but also by David Ward, Marco Palmieri, and Kevin Dilmore.

  15. The book I am reading is called "I'll be home soon" by Luanne Armstrong. The genre for this book is teen fiction and suspense. Once i read the first page, i was very intrigued into it because it already explained who the main character was and the main setting in the story, in a rundown apartment building in New York. I chose this book because of its title. The title pretty much explains why the teenage girl is curled up alone near yellow caution tape. I am enjoying her writing because i can easily understand what is going on without too many confusing twists in the story. Its pretty much straight forward and to the point of events which i think describes the authors writing the best. The main conflict in this story is about a girl named Regan waiting for her mom to come home with money because they are poor. Luanne Armstrong was born in the year 1949. She is a novelist, freelance writer, editor and publisher. She has published over fifteen books including poetry, novels, children books, etc. Luanne currently lives on her organic cottage farm in the Kootaney region of BC.

  16. The book I'm reading is called "Steve Nash The unlikely ascent of a Superstar". The novel is written by Dave Feschuk and Michael Grange. The genre of this novel is sports. The novel is very interesting so far. It's cool to learn how Steve Nash grew up and how he made it to the NBA and became of the great players of his generation. I'm enjoying the writing because it has a lot of quotes from people that know Steve personally so the writer isn't making anything up. I chose this novel because I got it for Christmas and I wanted to know more of Steve Nash because he connects to me. He is a small white dude who plays basketball and he is from Canada. Dave Feschuk is a sports columnst from the Toronto Star. He writes all about sports and covers many different stories. I think he wrote this novel because Steve Nash is Canadian and it would make for a very good story. Since Steve Nash is such a big star it would be interesting to find out his story and his path to the NBA.

  17. The novel I read was World War Z by Max Brooks. It is a horror/fiction novel. Unlike most other novels it doesn't have any continuing characters. it is a pleasant change. Instead of having continuing characters it has a new characters story every chapter. They all tie together in different ways which is also really cool. It is written through the eyes of a journalist hearing the stories of survivors of the zombie war. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it made me never want to put the book down. I am not even half way through and it's my favorite book I have ever read. Max Brooks is a 22 year old American author, actor, voice actor, and screenwriter. He has written many books including "World War Z"," Zombie Survival Guide", and "Harlem Hell Fighters." He has written screenplay for Saturday Night Live.

  19. The book that I am currently reading is “The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight”. It is written by Jennifer E. Smith. The genre of this novel is young-adult romance. It is about two strangers who met at the airport and were on their way to London. So far, I am enjoying the novel because the story is so interesting and I have never encountered any boring parts. Furthermore, the story is so realistic that I could relate to some of its parts such as when the main character was feeling irritated at the airport. In addition, she incorporated a lot of details in the book such as when she was describing how the airport looked and how the girl was feeling. These details immediately made me feel a lot of emotions even though I am not even half way through the book. Additionally, I chose this particular novel because when I saw this on the internet, I got really curious. I immediately wondered how two people could fall for one another in a span of twenty-four hours and if they would see each other again after they have reached their destination. These thoughts were the major reasons why I chose to read this book because instantly, a lot of questions regarding the story were already coming into my mind. Through my research, I have found that Jennifer E. Smith earned a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Also, her work has been translated into thirty languages. She has written six novels which includes “This is What Happy Looks Like”, and most of them are also young-adult romance as that is what seems to be her niche. Lastly, I have found that she is not a full-time writer as she is also a senior editor at Random House US Imprint Ballantine Books which helped her become a better writer.

The book I am reading is called “The Long Walk” a Stephen King novel written under the pen name “Richard Bachman.” Stephen King wanted to write under another name because as an author you are limited to publishing one book per year. Richard Bachman was written under the pen name for seven of Stephen King’s novels such as Rage, Roadwork, The Running Man, Thinner, and The Long Walk. Stephen King writes horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, science fiction and fantasy, but The Long Walk is a psychological horror.
