  1. First of all, this person is in the starting position when you're about to run a race. I totally got the idea that this person is going to escape the paper, and run through my head with all these words on him. Like this person is going to run by so quick, I wont understand a thing on this paper.

  2. When I first looked at this image, I saw the words and the man. I noticed the texture of the paper the artist used as the background of his photo. I think the message of this image is that when you are reading literature, sometimes the words "jump" off the page and stand out at you. I think that is what the man with the words on himself is there for. The man stood out to me when I first saw the image, just like how sometimes words jump out at you.

  3. When I first looked at this picture I assumed the message was that all descriptions make up who you are and that's why there is text making a human. I also thought that it was crouching and almost looked like it was hiding from something or was about to run away. The artist also might have even been displaying a part of himself and showing that he is a part of his writing, or how much reading someone's writing might consume you. BK P1

  4. The picture or the image looks like it's like trying to duck down and hiding from someone and keep it's the eyes up and it's kinda creepy how there's word and letter on the body and it looks like it's trying to get away from their emotions and getting away from it to have positive life

  6. This is an interesting picture. The words and the man who seems about to leap caught my attention. The brownish color of the paper also gives an old look to the image. I like how the artist put more texture to the image of the man. It makes it stand out from the words on the background. I think what the picture is trying to express is that knowledge grows with a person. The things a person learns or experiences in his life, whether it is good or bad, will make him a better person. The man whose body is scribbled with words and who seem to stand up and walk, for me means that whatever is learned should be lived. There is no sense in learning a lot of things when you do not apply it in real life.

  7. The message to me is the more you read the more info you will get from what your reading. Also that the man or boy in this picture is in a position that looks like he is about to run a race or jump out at me off the paper. Like how some words kinda jump off the page when you read something.

    1. Much more discussion required for both of your on line art analysis responses. Explain what you mean by your first sentence. What colours are used? What is the foreground? What is in the background? Review your art analysis notes..Thank-you.

  8. Literature is any form of written work, the words for a person and I presume the character is a creation of words forming literature. In the background it forms a gear, the gears connecting together perfectly and turning creating allowing to thing to flow. I believe that literature helps the gears turn in your head and creates new things.

  9. I think the artist was trying to relay the message, that you grow as a person the more knowledge you obtain. As for the cogs in the background, i believe they symbolize the gears of the mind turning as you absorb all the information. And i believe he/she is in a crouching position because, they are not quite at their full potential, but are trying their hardest. Austin P P2

  10. I think the photo tells a meaning of how words on a page are not just words, they are the sparks that form the flare. A word on a piece of paper is alive, and it can jump off the page, and come from a simple 2-dimensional space, to a world that is strange, void, and unknown. And after awhile, that word can find you and inspire you. The picture even shows from the feathered look, a page of words can still live, and find you. The life inside the page is also shown to have gears working it, and then an actual life form rising out of the page. The page also seems to not just be creating the life, it is also giving it strength, and from the living, the page of words and gears seems to be giving the life of the words strength, and more life as the person reads, writes and listens. You give life to the creation, and the creation gives you life, and knowledge. The more you distinguish what is there, the more aura you'll see in the Life, and creation. And as you read on, write on, or listen on, you yourself will grow as a person, as long as your willing to listen to the creation. The more your Aura will glow. And the more life you'll give off.

  11. To me the artist of of this picture is trying to send a message through his art work without being too up front about. To me the boy in this picture is trying to escape the page, he may be trying to get away from someone/something or running away. This picture looks to be quite old by the condition that the paper is and the color and texture of it. Period 2, KT
